Birthing is a beautiful journey. And while you’re giving birth to light, you’re also letting go of a perspective of life. 

This piece honor the Norma I was before, I loved that chapter. The woven fabric is incomplete because Im still rediscovering who I am now. I loved who I was, and I also LOVE this new version of myself.

The process involve painting over a colorful face with black, writing in spanish how I felt, breaking it apart and sewing it together- mirroring the c-section section.
